I went to the Downers Grove location today, January 30, 2025, after work to exchange two pairs of pants. Since I walked in, I was greeted by really friendly and welcoming staff. I explained to the gentleman at the cashier why I wanted to exchange the pants, and he was very helpful.
I had an outstanding experience at 5.11 Tactical in Downers Grove! Rick, Tee, and Frank truly went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely committed to helping me find exactly what I needed.
I put one star but it meant to be 5 stars for the employee, he was very helpful. One star because viewers normally read low ratings only and a for 511 head office. There are complaints that the employee doesn’t answer the phone or the shop is closed.
5.11 tactical retail stores are really laid out well and cater to the gear junky looking for stuff that is above the bar in quality with innovative design thinking built into their products.
