AKIRA has opened in Natick Mall, 2nd level! Thank goodness - won’t have to travel to other states for one-of-a-kind fashion finds. Associates are fantastic. Love the one-on-one attention and the fact that I can schedule an appointment for future visits with my very own personal stylist.
Wow seems like an understatement for this place. Went in there the first time to find an outfit for a pink pony themed rocky horror show. Naomi helped me find so many pieces that would have turned every head in boston but the one I ended up with was perfect and got me so many compliments at the show.
Tiana needs a raise! I went in the day before Valentine's Day to find a date night outfit, and Tiana made me feel like I was the most important customer in the mall! Not only that, but she remembered selling the gift certificate I had to my boyfriend back in December, just based off our descriptions of each other!

A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
