I was dreading this appointment. My MOH has been pushing me to try on dresses for about a month. So I pinterested “Plus Size wedding dress” and picked some random silhouettes in hopes that if I find the most plain dress, I won’t have any dress regrets... Amanda Ritchey, you are an amazing person.
If I can give this place a million stars I would! First off, my wedding is on September 18 , 2021. It is a “last minute” wedding. I was very nervous about getting a dress, as a lot of places would like at least 6 months before the wedding.
This store is absolutely amazing!!! I was one of the unfortunate brides in the middle of the Alfred Angelo bankruptcy fiasco. I lost my wedding gown and veil due to the closing. On top of that, I live in Florida and had to come to Pennsylvania to be with my mom for two weeks as she was sent to the hospital.
I shopped here before the name change, and I chose it SPECIFICALLY because they embrace larger bodies. I also liked that they did their best to read me as a bride. I was very no-nonsense, but you could totally gush it up in your "Say Yes to the Dress" moment.
