Ashley Stewart is my go-to store. They’re gonna carry cute plus size clothes at affordable prices. The ladies that work there are always nice and speak the moment you walk through the door. Plus the music is enjoyable and store stays clean, even when busy.
I was super excited to visit this Ashley Stewart location, especially since it's the only store left in North Carolina. There used to be a location in Fayetteville, and I believe there were a few others across the state that have since closed.
I really wanted a coat that was unavailable online and locally in my size. I called this store, which is out of state, and spoke with a very nice young lady by the name of Katira. She absolutely made my day when she told me that not only did they carry the coat, but they had it in the size I needed.
This is a wonderful store. The team here is great everyone is helpful. You walk in to look around if you want. You are going to be told about "TODAY'S SALE" and you gonna look good in that outfit.

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
