Last Saturday my son got married in Miami. I am handicapped so looking for something to wear was not going to be easy. First stop Avenue Fashion. When in there I looked around and saw a dress I loved. Colors were very pretty(almost like tropical winter).
I went to Avenue Fashions to purchase a dress for my daughter's wedding. There was a problem with the dress I had originally bought for the wedding, so I needed to buy the dress and have it tailored in less than a week.
Sandy was amazing. She helped me find the perfect Mother of the Bride dress. The wedding was in Charleston, S.C. My dress was the perfect complement to the venue. I could not be more pleased. First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
