I love the clothes. Stylish and they're durable, I'm still wearing blouses I bought 8-10 years ago, and they look great. They have a great team of sales people, especially Pepper, who are most helpful.
Honestly I WANT to like Cato's, but the store itself is... well... shabby. Displays are completely haphazard and I got the impression that the only real "sorting" that they did was "men, women, children, household, accessories." It was more like digging through thrift store bins than shopping.
