Connie and her team brought my entire bridal look to life, from head to toe! I grew up visiting Morgantown and later attended WVU. Through all those years, I loved staring at the gorgeous wedding dresses in Coni and Franc’s windows.
We had a wonderful time at Coni and Franc! Norah went above and beyond for us. She was so sweet and helpful. She made our entire experience unforgettable and she’s the reason I found my dress! She pulled it and had me try it on, thinking I would like it and I ended up loving it!

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6. Alterations are mentioned on site here, which makes the fitting logistics a whole lot easier.
