I got my dress yesterday at the Pure Bridal pop-up and had the best experience! As soon as we arrived, the owners greeted us and explained how everything was organized and where to find different styles and sizes, which made it super easy to get started.
I worked with Jillian at Pure Bridal recently to find my dream dress and was AMAZED with the level of care and expertise. I’ve been shopping at a few places, even out of state, and was pleasantly surprised with how well stocked and organized Pure Bridal was.

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6. Alterations are mentioned on site here, which makes the fitting logistics a whole lot easier.
