Southern Belles is definitely my new favorite place!! Ever since I was a little girl, I couldn’t wait to go prom dress shopping and they gave me the best experience I could ever ask for! It took me less than two hours to choose a beautiful dress out of their giant selection.
From the moment we walked in our experience at SB was amazing! Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, super friendly and efficient! We found the perfect dress for my daughter's senior prom at an affordable price. Selection of dresses was great but the staff and experience was top tier!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
This place is amazing and so much fun!! Each young lady was treated so kind and the compliments flowed and were all heart felt!! My daughter was treated like a princess and she found the perfect dress for Prom 2025!! Thank you Berkely who was AMAZING and Joy the owner was bomb too!!! We had a blast!!
We had the best experience here. My daughter and I stopped by to just look at prom dresses. We were mostly just wanting to get an idea of what she liked for her first prom. We were greeted at the door by the sweetest associate, I believe her name may have been Anna. She stayed with us the whole time.

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
