I had an amazing first wedding dress try on experience at the Bridal Gallery in down town Salem. The entire gallery was reserved for myself and party for a private appointment, adding to the overall exceptional experience. My consultant Michelle was friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced with over 20 years in Bridal.
I visited The Bridal Gallery for my wedding dress while I was in Oregon visiting family. I live in New Jersey, but wanted to go to a place in Oregon so my grandmother could come along for the experience. I scheduled online and received a call from someone right away to ask some questions to customize my experience.
This place is wonderful!!! Jessica was so incredible and I have honestly taken way too long to leave this review. The first dress she recommended I try on did end up being the one I fell in love with ultimately and I really appreciate all of the help she gave in order to make getting it a reality.
I got married on October 29th of 2023, I went to sooo many bridal stores to find my perfect dress but couldn’t find “the one” ( I tried on over 50 dresses🥲) but when I went to Bridal Gallery I found the dress of my dreams! The ladies that work there are the most amazing and supportive girls everrrrr!

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6. Alterations are mentioned on site here, which makes the fitting logistics a whole lot easier.
