We had an absolutely amazing experience here this weekend. My sister is getting married and I booked an appointment at David’s Bridal first. It was a fine experience there “customer service” wise, but the floor seemed dirty, worn and the chairs were few and far between.
I had the most amazing experience! The whole team was so welcoming and supportive from the moment I stepped in the store. Chapel was extremely knowledgeable and such a great listener when I explained what I was looking for.

We had an amazing experience at The Gilded Gown! After going to another local dress store and them not having much of a selection of various sizes, we made our way to the Gilded Gown. I called and made a impromptu appointment. Once entering we were warmly welcomed and introduced to our stylist " Lily".

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
