From the reviews
I went several months back, super cute place and prices were pretty good for the quality of everything. Has fitting rooms, I just didn’t like the white curtains but that may be just me lol. I’ve been wanting to go to a $30 fill a bag day and also check out the tailoring service soon.
Great vintage clothing. They also have in house tailoring, which is what brought me here. I bought a vintage coat and the leather straps to hold the buttons snapped. I asked a good friend that sells vintage clothing where I should go for the repair and she recommended this cool spot.
My partner and I worked with Louise for two different wedding outfits. They did an incredible job with our orders, one of which was a rush job that needed to be done within a week! Working with them felt like a collaboration, where they heard our suggestions and made suggestions of their own that best suited us.
Super cute, very clean and aestheticly charming thrift shop! There isn't an overwhelming amount of clothes, which is nice, but kind of felt lackluster in comparison to more typical thrift stores with too much to pick from.
Plus size bridal & formal at The Nest
The Nest comes up for plus size bridal and formal wear — confirmed on their own site. Two things to know before the trip. First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6. Alterations are mentioned on site here, which makes the fitting logistics a whole lot easier.
