I have only the best things to say about The White Dress!! My mom had done lots of research on different bridal salons in the metro-Detroit area, and we ultimately decided TWD would be the best place to start. I'm so glad we did!
Beautiful dresses and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I was torn between two dresses, but I ultimately decided on one and couldn’t be happier with my decision! A little over two months until the big day, so I’ll make sure to post pictures after! I will recommend TWD to anyone looking for a wedding gown!
The White Dress is the best! I drove over an hour to find my wedding dress. Their shop is very clean and welcoming! Everything is super organized and they have a great selection of dresses in a good price range! Their staff is very supportive and helped find a dress that best fit my body style.
The White Dress is a shop I will forever recommend to every bride to be. The shop was clean, organized and full of beautiful gowns. The staff was WONDERFUL, bright and welcoming. Even the owner walked around introducing herself and popped in a few times during my appointment.

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
