I went into the ultimate with the intention of just looking at some wedding dresses. I was feeling a little overwhelmed because I was looking online to schedule appointments and my mom and I decided to just get a head start on our free weekend.
Sonia omg!!! Can we just talk about how amazing she is! She made this whole experience so magical and so much fun!!! It was like she was part of the family. She knew what both my bestie and I wanted and she was so attentive with accessories and making us feel like gorgeous super models.
I visited The Ultimate on a whim, and it was the best decision I could’ve made! I found my dress, but more importantly, I found the best consultant in Sonia. I walked in feeling anxious that I’d started shopping too late, but Sonia immediately made me feel relaxed and reassured.
I would give the Ultimate more stars but it only goes to five…. I can’t say enough great things about this store. The store is so well managed, the girls helping are top notch; they give respectful, honest feedback.

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
