I don't write reveiws often but I had to for this place because it is awesome. Went there today to buy a garment and the lady that work there should be a public relations coach teaching this new generation how to treat a customer.
I will never go anywhere else when I need a new bra. What a statement to make! I specifically came to the shop because I needed undergarments for my sister’s wedding. When I walked in, I was greeted by the owner, Sue, She was lovely and incredibly knowledgeable. She is a one woman show!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Sue! She is the owner and proprietor of Central Foundations. In August I brought my daughter in. I had been trying to get her to come for years. But it was her birthday. Her staff had planned a dinner at a very elegant restaurant. The dress was fantastic. One sleeve, and fit her figure perfectly.
This is easily 4.5 close to 5 stars. I never heard of Central Foundations until I did a search to find bras and intimate apparel. We didn't have an appointment. We were made to feel welcome the moment we stepped in the door. I was told Central Foundations was previously located at Oak Park Avenue and Cermak.

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
