Although I am not getting my wedding dress from Eternity because I found something else I loved just a little bit better, it was by far the best experience I had at any of the 5 different bridal stores that I went to (Vermont and New York)!
Sadie was amazing in helping me and my daughter find our bridesmaids dresses for my sister's wedding. She took her time and made sure we had the right color and we were happy with our choices. She didn't make us feel rushed at all. Eternity had a great selection to boot!

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
