Sandra was wonderful to work with. My daughter ended up choosing one of the dresses Sandra picked—one that we workshop have even thought of without her help. She was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable.
My daughter and I went to Laura's Too looking for "the dress" for prom. I had called earlier in the week and talked to a very nice voice named Melanie who I asked would we end up working with, she had said probably not but others would take care of us.
We found a dress for my honeymoon cruise formal dinner. The employee helping me seemed a bit frazzled but was friendly enough and said I could use their seamstress for alterations. We scheduled a time, but an hour before the appointment she texted to reschedule for the following week.
I went in looking for a prom dress with no expectations. But I had an amazing time everyone was so nice and the dresses were exceptional. I found a beautiful emerald green dress that truly made me feel like a princess i was so extremely happy with my choiceand there beautiful dress.

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
