I have had wonderful experiences shopping at Helen Ainson for evening wear. Corrie is extremely helpful and nice! All I had to do was tell her the colors I was interested in and she found me three perfect cocktail dresses.
Helen Ainson is the best place to go for party attire. Especially wedding wear. As mother of the bride/groom it is not easy to find the perfect dress. Helen Ainson caters to that. I have 2 weddings this summer and I want to look good. I am over 60 and so my requirements are not those of someone younger.
My daughter and I visited this dress shop yesterday, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Holly was absolutely superb; attentive, patient, and took interest as to what I was looking for.
I cannot recommend Helen Ainson enough! I was looking for a MOG modern silhouette long dress and Holly helped me find exactly what I needed. The quality of the inventory from dresses, gowns, jewelry and other accessories @ Helen Ainson is amazing.

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6. Alterations are mentioned on site here, which makes the fitting logistics a whole lot easier.
