Splendid Avenue is a beautiful Swedish boutique in Gilman Village. Monica is the owner and one of the friendliest, warmest cheerful store owners I’ve met. You will find Isle Jacobsen rain boots and jackets, jewelry, dishes, pottery, candles, belts, gorgeous pillow covers, art, scarves, clothing, and throws.
I visited this shop from Chicago a couple of months ago. Had a very friendly conversation with the shopkeeper and bought a gray cardigan which I have worn just about every other day since it was purchased. It is wearing beautifully and it makes me feel cozy and keeps me warm during the cold Chicago winter.
