The clothes look great - that much is obvious. But the staff? They are AMAZING. I came in with my wife for some sexy night out outfits. It has been hard for her to get back into fun style after a decade of mom clothes and office outfits.
I came in the store not knowing if I would find anything my style but one of the worker Ruben really helped me find many options for my graduation dress and asked for feedback while tailoring to my preferences! He also helped me style my dress, find accessories and a pair of shoes to match.
Let me tell you about Ashley, yes Ashley the sales associate. My daughter prom time & we went to a lot of high end stores, coming from work not looking the best & got nose turned down on us. She didn't get that amazing prom attitude from sales associate. After prom outfit we went to Akira & ASHLEY WAS AMAZING.
I love that we are bringing fashion to MA with this store and I wish there were more locations. It can be pricey but it's worth the experience to upgrade the wardrobe from basic to fashion forward. I hope this store never closes because there is definitely not one like it around at ALL.

First, bridal shopping is usually by appointment — book ahead, and when you call, ask what size range their try-on samples come in. A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
