My best friend and I were in there yesterday shopping for her an outfit to wear to an Party and the gentleman that were on the floor which are sales associates every time I enter the store they never speak. They never say welcome to Akira.
I came into AKIRA today in a rush, trying to find something for my trip to Las Vegas with only a couple of hours before my flight. I had no idea what I wanted, but I was helped by Shanelle—and OMG, she was amazing! Not only did she find me the cutest outfits, but she also got me together so quickly.
I love Akira so much, but I absolutely hate that they made it smaller, selection has dwindled down to almost nothing, no sales section anymore; just a tiny amount of clothing and shoes now. Depressing, it used to have so much, and the selction was way bigger. I still love Akira but I miss my sales. 😭

A shop can order almost any gown in your size, but the sample sizes on the floor decide whether you actually get to see yourself in the dress, and the good plus bridal shops stock samples to try, not just to imagine. Second, plan the alterations timeline: gowns and formal dresses typically go through two or three fittings, so the comfortable window is starting your search around 8–10 months before the date and saying yes to a gown by 6.
